Over the last few years, I have been struggling
Over the last few years, I have been struggling with how I look in the mirror and how my body has aged. I’ve been gaining weight and inches constantly since I had my son in 2011. I have visited the doctor in the hopes of finding an answer, maybe my metabolism was slowing down, maybe I was eating too much, too little, not exercising enough, not sleeping enough. I tried everything I could, but after a couple of weeks of not seeing results, I would drop my diet. It happened with every diet.
One of my co-workers was recommended an endocrinologist to check on her thyroids. When she went there, he recommended the Ketogenic diet. We were all surprised how she started loosing weight and looking healthier and best of all keeping the diet!. So I decided to follow her steps, to educate myself and give it a try.
My journey started on June 6th, I cannot say this has been easy, or that it has always been successful. But I can say that I feel better, that my clothes are starting to fit better and that I am motivated to keep trying.
